How Inteviron’s Guardec SafeGuard helped Queensland University of Technology’s (QUT) plant lab maintain its PC2 lab certification.
The Solution
After receiving recommendations from a construction company, QUT’s procurement department reached out to Inteviron looking for a long term, hygienic solution to maintain their PC2 lab certification.
After an initial phone consultation with representatives from QUT, our team visited the laboratory to discuss what could be achieved. Finding that Inteviron’s Guardec SafeGuard would meet the needs for the laboratory, the Inteviron team measured the facility and recommended the Guardec SafeGuard in diamond white for the lab.
The Outcome
Because of the large stock holding in our Queensland Warehouse, Inteviron was able to have the 200m2 of Guardec SafeGuard measured, cut and ready for installation within a short period of time. Our team of installers were onsite to implement the hygienic wall cladding within a matter of weeks, completing the installation efficiently, allowing for lab use quickly.
By using our Guardec SafeGuard, removing the costs of constantly repainting the lab, the plant laboratory at QUT cut ongoing maintenance costs, and can now maintain their accreditation as a PC2 certified facility.
